Stardust

It's been a fun Saturday - garage sales, thrift shops, Indian food, and Stardust.  IMHO it's rare for the movie to be better than the book but this was one of those times.  The cast is really good, it's a good story, and a lot of nice touches have been added (at least I don't remember them from the book but it's been a while).  I'm not sure which I like better... Robert DeNiro's pirate captain, the witch's attempt at a minor face-lift, or the sword fight with the dead guy.

It's just the sort of thing that would particularly stand out to you; I don't know, it just struck as a Xavid thing to specifically mention the cute animal.

Ian and I saw it tonight too and loved it. I was going to reread the book before I saw the movie, but everyone kept saying how good the movie was I finally gave that up.
