"Cure" might be an overstatement but Shlomo has a variation on the traditional hot tea with lemon and honey which I like and which really seems to help:
1. Place several slices of ginger and several slices of lemon per cup of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Let simmer for a litle while.
2. Use the resulting hot water to make tea (I used Constant Comment), add lemon juice and honey, drink while hot (the resdidual vegetable matter can be consumed or discarded as you prefer).
It tastes good, is comforting, and seems to break up the congestion.
